MEDICAL STAFF

First administrator of the Clinic, in 1954 was d-r Risto Brezjanin, followed by d-r Dimitar Arsov. In 1960 prof.d-r Save Mironski becomes the first director. Followed by him are prim. d-r Asen Shain, prof.d-r Bojana Grunevska (1982), prof. d-r Dimitar Dimitriev (1987-1999) spec. d-r Velo Markovski (1999-2002), again prof.d-r Dimitar Dimitriev (2003-2005), doc.d-r Violeta Grunevska (2005). Since November 2005, and current director is prof.d-r Zvonko Milenkovic.

Besides above mentioned directors, the chronicles of the Clinic for Infectious Diseases will remember the names of many doctors who worked and helped build the Clinic to its current standing: d-r N. Trenevski, d-r N. Nedelkovska, d-r I. Trajkov, d-r M. Mihov, d-r O. Stojanova, d-r L. Kirovski, d-r T. Orusev, d-r R.Subanovic, d-r M. Georgieva, d-r E. Gurkova, d-r V. Vasilev, d-r E. Angelova, d-r J. Angelovska.

At the moment, the Clinic employs different compatible and educated profiles necessary for implementing the high quality health care:

-          28 doctors, specialists for infectious disease

-          6 interns,

-          one general practitioner,

-          two biologist-biochemists,

-          one biologist, specialist in the field of microbiology,

-          one chemist,

-          10 nurses with high education,

-          49 nurses,

-          13 laboratory technicians

-          other technical personnel.
